RCMA Committee Chair Interview with Jayne Rollason
National Product Process Manager at Polyglass U.S.A., Inc.
What is your industry background?
I’ve been in the roofing industry for nine years, with a strong focus on roof coatings. Most recently, my role has expanded beyond coatings, and I’m now involved with our full range of building envelope products. It’s been a journey of growth, learning, and diving deeper into the systems that protect and enhance our buildings.
Why is it important to serve as the chair for RCMA's communication, membership, and education committee (CMEC)?
As Chair of RCMA's CMEC, I see this role as a chance to really make an impact. It’s about keeping our members informed, connected, and supported through strong communication and meaningful education. I’m passionate about helping our industry grow, and this committee plays a key part in that by promoting collaboration, innovation, and engagement across the board.
What value does RCMA bring to the industry?
RCMA is the voice of the roof coatings industry. It brings manufacturers, suppliers, and soon contractors, together to share knowledge, shape standards, and advocate for smart, sustainable solutions. Through research, education, and collaboration, RCMA helps us stay ahead of the curve—driving innovation, protecting our interests, and making sure the value of roof coatings is recognized across the building and construction world.
What do you like to do when you’re not immersed in roof coatings?
I love getting hands-on with DIY projects, traveling to new places, spending quality time with my family, diving into creative projects—and when I need a fun break, you’ll probably find me playing ping pong.
